ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to cooperate with others, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:
1. Interviewing clients and assessing needs and job skills for enrollment in training and employment programs.
2. Referring clients to other programs within the Workforce Center and the community as appropriate.
3. Administering and interpreting appropriate assessment instruments.
4. Assisting clients with job development, maintaining an educational plan, and employer and other community education activities. Serves as a liaison between the organization and other community agencies.
5. Instructing clients in pre-employment skills, self-esteem building, and other activities in order to assist in job placement.
6. Supervising clients’ work performance, training, and/or education.
7. Designing and implementing special projects, which will enhance the training services provided by the organization.
8. Maintaining files, log notes, forms, routine reports, and other paperwork as necessary.
9. Participating in employer relation activities, including consultative meetings, job fairs, seminars, workshops, and networking events.
10. Other duties as assigned.
