Hilltop Community Resources, founded in 1950, manages 24 community-based programs serving over 20,000 individuals annually in Mesa, Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties. Our programs support our mission to "provide leadership for community-based services that foster self-sufficiency and enrich quality of life."
We are honored to have received the Award of Excellence from the El Pomar Foundation acknowledging our contribution in the "Self-Sufficiency" category.
Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, service clubs and foundations, here is a brief look at those we were able to help last year...
- Children's Services include three programs providing vulnerable families with the tools and information needed to help their children succeed in life. Hilltop assisted 3,914 children and families last year with health care access, parenting education, bilingual services, and childcare.
- Youth Services teaches at-risk adolescents the tools and strength to face the challenges life presents and lead them on the path to successful adulthood. Last year, Hilltop helped 2,536 young people envision brighter futures and provided bilingual services.
- Adult Services span from providing job training and employment to assisting victims of domestic violence to residential care for traumatic brain-injured adults. Last year 15,014 adults started new futures for themselves with the assistance of Hilltop's programs.
- Senior Services provides supportive living environments that honor individual choice, while maintaining quality of life and a strong sense of community. Over 450 seniors benefited from Hilltop's retirement and assisted living services.

Since 1950, Hilltop has responded to changing economics and identified community needs. For over half a century, many young children, teenagers, adults, and seniors have created new futures for themselves through Hilltop's programs.
