Professional Services Division is committed to providing Mesa County Employers, Job Seekers, and Customers opportunities for training, development and assessment needed to build, develop and retain a quality workforce. We can serve a variety of needs and skill levels.
The Adult Learning Lab offers self-paced, academic and computer skills courses for developing entry level job skills. Workforce Investment Act, Mesa County Department of Human Services, and Vocational Rehabilitation clients are provided an environment that enables an individual to gain confidence and skills. The Adult Learning Lab is also available to the public on an hourly fee basis.
The Assessment Lab offers Mesa County Employers validated screening and testing systems to assist in making good hiring decisions. We also offer assessment programs to Job Service, Veterans, Workforce Investment Act, Mesa County Department of Human Services, and Vocational Rehabilitation clients in order to accurately identify work readiness status and to evaluate academic and job related skills.
The Computer Lab offers up-to-date instructor led, hands-on computer software training. Individuals and Mesa County Employers can upgrade software skills quickly and economically through a variety of courses in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook, and Publisher. The Computer Lab also offers courses in Quick Books, Internet/E-Mail, Web Page Design, Medical Manager, and courses for "Seniors Only."
The Professional Services Classroom offers employers the ability to develop and retain their existing workforce through training.
