Hilltop's Kiddin' Around Learning Center provides high-quality, affordable childcare and education for children age 2 to 21 years.

Purpose

The purpose of Kiddin’ Around is to provide a nurturing world where all children and families crayons are celebrated, individuality is welcome and respected, and extraordinary experiences occur every day. At Kiddin’ Around we are committed to a flexible approach and a “can do attitude” that allows us to meet unique and unmet needs of the community in the area of child care provided in a center setting.

The TEACHING PYRAMID is a proactive system of preventative behavior support designed for all of the children in a multi-classroom program of early child care and/or education. It involves a tiered model of practices and procedures for providing support to children and families. The first tier, universal practices, promotes the social development and engagement of all children. The second tier promotes classroom preventive strategies. The third tier involves providing targeted children who have risk factors or behavioral problems with more focused instruction on social emotional skills. The final tier includes a process for the provision of intensive and individualized behavior support plans for the few children who are already engaged in patterns of challenging behavior.

Summer Program

School’s out soon and your children are ready to play. Kiddin’ Around Learning Center offers a unique summer program, for school age kids, featuring exciting workshops. Opportunities include computer programs, dance, art classes, field trips and more! Kiddin’ Around Learning Center’s summer program begins May 24, 2010.
