Camp Kiwanis, a not-for-profit facility, encourages character development through personal camping experiences. We provide a beautiful, natural environment that enhances mind, body and spirit while emphasizing fun. The camp, open from late spring through September, is a unique, affordable facility for group programs, family reunions or events.

Our Facilities

Rustic, log cabins are nestled in a secluded alpine setting on 7.5 acres of leased National Forest Land. Up to 100 campers can sleep in two separate male/female dormitory-style cabins complete with bath facilities and heat. Camp staff is housed in three nearby cabins. In addition to sleeping facilities, campers can enjoy the main lodge that includes a remodelled, fully-equipped kitchen, large dining/meeting room and stone fireplace. Rounding out the amenities is a solar-heated swimming pool, infirmary, tent camping and picnic area, crafts cabin, activity area, fire rings and a camp store.

Location

Camp Kiwanis is located in the Grand Mesa National Forest along the Grand Mesa National Scenic and Historic Byway. Just 45-minutes from Grand Junction, Colorado, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of alpine and desert vistas. Soon, you'll be enveloped by the Grand Mesa National Forest at an elevation of 8,600 feet. This area is home to a variety of wildlife and is a popular hiking and fishing spot. The Grand Mesa is also home to numerous rivers and streams, and more than 300 lakes.
