School Social Worker licensed by the Colorado Department of Education

I earned my BSW form Colorado Mesa University in 2016 and my MSW From the University of Denver in 2019. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado and a School Social Worker licensed by the Colorado Department of Education. I have experience working with families, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Throughout my career I have had the privilege of working with survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual assault acquired brain injuries, early childhood and a school setting. I have worked in the non-profit sector for over 16 years, child welfare, at a variety of early childhood centers and at our local school district. I adopt a strength based, trauma informed, neuro affirming behavioral approach to therapy, recognizing the importance of human connection and resilience. I believe that every individual is an expert about themself, and we all need others to navigate the journey of life and realize our own potential and goals. I am dedicated to creating a non-judgmental, warm, and supportive environment in therapy, offering empathy, collaboration, and authenticity. I strive to help clients feel empowered, equipped and confident and to identify their internal and external resilience and strengths or develop healthier boundaries and feel more connected. With an eclectic approach, I draw from Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Motivational interviewing, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, yoga and Pilates, cooking, redecorating and exploring our beautiful Colorado outdoors.
