Master of Social Work from Colorado Mesa University, Licensed Social Worker
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Colorado Mesa University. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and am currently working towards my License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW). I have experience working with adolescents, complex family dynamics, seniors, and adults with disabilities. I am passionate about supporting clients navigating complicated grief, complex trauma, and narrative work. I adopt a humanistic and strengths-based approach to therapy, recognizing the importance of caring for the whole person. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and safe space in therapy, offering authenticity and unconditional positive regard. I strive to help clients feel affirmed in their identities and empowered to grow. With a generalist-eclectic approach, I draw from person-centered and humanistic approaches, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, mindfulness-based interventions, and narrative therapy. In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, nature walks, and yoga.
